Amenomania is a highly limited edition collection of benches created at FICA and designed by guest illustrators. The 2nd edition, with 10 units, was hand-drawn by the portuguese illustrator Mantraste and is named GALOPAR (Portuguese word for gallop). This edition of 10 units is signed and numbered.

Delirium in which the imagination wanders through joyful things.

Since we created this bench, we feel that the workshop has been invaded by small, camouflaged wooden creatures. In the morning it's an elephant, in the afternoon it turns out to be a sheep. We look away and when we look back, that assembly of wood has undergone another mutation and is no longer even an animal. We are victims of our imagination and we want to regain our sanity. Or better yet, we want to drag others with us and give life to these camouflaged beings. And so we thought of illustrators, who often take us into their imagination, to create their version.

Hand-built and hand-drawn in Lisbon, Portugal.
Due to the handmade production, imperfections and slight variations may occur in color, format and finish. These singularities accentuate the handcrafted process, making each piece unique. Embracing these variations is part of the artisanal process.

Born in 1988 and son of a hairdresser and a shepherd, was raised in the woods like an animal. He’s a fan of the popular mysticism and nature, nowadays lives hidden in Portugal to make graphic design and illustration.

Keep away from humidity and heat sources to prevent damages.
To preserve the quality of the products, clean them with a damp cloth only. Avoid the use of aggressive/abrasive detergents that could damage the surfaces of the wood.
