stencil-based printing process
WHAT IS RISOGRAPH?
Risograph printing is a unique process that blends digital technology with traditional printing techniques. It uses a stencil (called a master) to transfer vibrant, soy-based inks onto paper, one color at a time. Each color layer is printed separately, allowing for bold, layered designs. The process is known for its slightly imperfect, textured results, giving each print a handcrafted feel.
Like screen printing, risograph prints one color at a time, creating rich, layered visuals. Both techniques produce slightly varied prints due to their manual nature, making each piece truly unique.
