A mundane and often overlooked object, the clothespin emerges as a metaphor for a condition of permanent availability, evoking the experience of someone who lives between projects, balancing moments of suspension and continuous activity.

Maria Luz é uma artista visual portuguesa que investiga a solidão no dia-a-dia da cidade. O seu trabalho procura a beleza em objetos e lugares abandonados, utilizando a luz e a cor como portas para paisagens nostálgicas. Trabalha principalmente com pintura a óleo e fotografia analógica. Licenciou-se em Pintura pela FBAUL em 2021 e, nesse mesmo ano, cofundou o projeto de joalharia Eixo de Luz. Em 2022, foi distinguida com o Prémio Arte Jovem do Millennium BCP e da Carpe Diem Arte e Pesquisa, com a série fotográfica há uma linha muito ténue entre a independência e a solidão.
