In Sinédoque, the artist explores painting and ceramics as a process of reaction and discovery, where unpredictability and irregularity are essential.

Each piece emerges from an initial gesture to which the artist responds intuitively, adjusting, compensating, and composing. “The pieces come to be as they come to be, without a defined path or goal,” they state, embracing chance as a driving force for creativity. Fragments of a whole, the pieces exist individually but gain new layers of meaning when brought together, reflecting a constant negotiation between belonging and acceptance.

Due to the handmade production, imperfections and slight variations may occur in color, format and finish. These singularities accentuate the handcrafted process, making each piece unique. Embracing these variations is part of the artisanal process.

This pieces are envisioned as a work of art. They are fragile pieces and need to be handled with care.
Keep away from heat sources to prevent damages.
To preserve the quality of our ceramic products, clean them with a damp cloth only. Avoid the use of aggressive/abrasive detergents that could damage the surfaces of the ceramic.
Over time, a crazing pattern may develop.
Note that not every surface may be coated with glaze. Some pieces are intentionally not completely glazed surface for conceptual or aesthetic reasons.

All orders are shipped from our workshop in Lisbon, Portugal.

Europe - 2 to 7 business days
Rest of the World - 2 to +7 business days

Shipping costs: Shipping costs are calculated individually based on the weight/volume of the order and the shipping zone. You can check the shipping cost at checkout, based from your location.

Be aware that, except from European Union countries, you may incur local import taxes and duties upon the arrival of your package in your country. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount, which includes taxes, duties, and customs fees.
